On June 2, 2019, UCMAS held its 14 National Competition where children across Ontario came together to show off their mental math skills and engage in a friendly competition. Students were tasked with completing between 150-200 addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division questions in only 8 MINUTES. Over 5000 students took part in this competition. BraineRS academy is proud to have had over 100 students from our center at the competition. We are extremely proud of every one of our students who entered the competition. They spent months preparing for the competition and put a lot of effort into improving their speed and accuracy. From our center, 39 students came out as winners. 28 of our students received merit awards, which means they scored in the top 30 in their respective level. 11 of our students received trophies for scoring in the top 5 of their level. Lastly, we are proud to say that we are home to a UCMAS national champion as one of the students had the highest score in their level. All 39 students were recognized for their achievements on June 9 at the UCMAS awards ceremony. Students were presented with their awards on stage and were able to celebrate this great achievement with their family and friends. Once again, we are extremely proud of all of our students. We would like to thank them and their parents for all of their hard work these past few months. We are already looking forward to the 15th UCMAS National Competition next June!
